The purpose of the bow-club is to:
* Være et inspirerende og koordinerende organ for folk med interesse for håndlagede buer og bueutstyr, tradisjoner for tilverking av buer og for bruk og vedlikehold av håndbuer.
Be an inspiring and coordinating place for people with an interest in handmade bows and bow equipment, traditions for making bows and for the use and maintenance of handbows.
* Holde workshops med produksjon av buer, verktøy og utstyr.
Hold workshops with the production of bows, tools and equipment.
* Trene/instruere skyteteknikker.
Train / instruct shooting techniques.
*Laget er åpen for alle - fra helt nybegynnere til erfarne bueskyttere/makere. Noen fokuserer mer på skyting mens andre på buemaking, noen gjør litt av hvert. I blant møtes vi alle sammen både med og uten buer for en matbit og noe godt å drikke.
*The team is open to everyone - from complete beginners to experienced archers / makers. Some focus more on shooting while others on making bows, some do a little of each. Sometimes we all meet both with and without bows for a bite to eat and something good to drink.
